Alice 1988
watched 1988 Alice recently, and it quickly became one of my favorite spookier adaptations. dolls, bones, taxidermy animals, each scene an absolute delight. off putting aura, strange atmosphere, it has both.

Valerie and her week of wonders
based on Nezval´s novel, which I recommend reading first to make more sense of the film, a visually striking and delightful story about girlhood, vampires and odd family dynamics. pure girl coming of age chaos and fever dream.

Daisies
one of the more known films. portrays girls who decide that the world is so evil they can pretty much do anything they want just for pleasure. aesthetic heaven.

Beauty and the beast
my favorite version of beauty and the beast. creepy, delicilously mysterious, aesthetically pleasing, dark and gothic. from beautiful dresses to dreamy cinematrography. a real horror-like fairytale.

Adéla ještě nevečeřela
part comedy, part crime parody, this steampunk vibes film is an aesthetic dream. a childhood favorite of mine.
